Notes

'Barbary Corsair' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Barbary Corsair') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and the flowers are fragrant. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea.
