Notes

'Big Blue' lilyturf (Liriope muscari 'Big Blue') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, shade gardens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms an evergreen clump with lavender flowers in summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Oakleaf hydrangea, and Japanese forest grass.
