Notes

Lilyturf (Liriope muscari) is a clumping perennial for borders, ground cover, shade gardens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It stays green all year and tolerates drought and salt. Lavender flowers appear in summer and again in autumn, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Little brown jug, and Endless Summer hydrangea.
