Notes

Bird cherry (Prunus padus) is a tree for pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. White flowers open in mid to late spring. Bees visit the blooms for nectar. The tree can reach 20 to 40 feet tall and wide, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Amur maple, Horse chestnut, Snowdrop, and Dropmore Scarlet honeysuckle.
