Notes
'Colorata' bird cherry (Prunus padus 'Colorata') is a tree for specimen planting, shade, and spring flowering. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 240 to 300 inches tall and 180 to 300 inches wide, so give it plenty of room. Pink flowers open in mid to late spring.
Pairs well with Autumn Blaze maple, Blush peony, and Black Hero tulip.
