Notes
Biting stonecrop (Sedum acre) is a succulent for rock gardens, containers, ground cover, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It creeps along the ground and grows fast, so give it room to spread. Yellow flowers draw bees and butterflies.
Pairs well with Black Scallop bugle, Lanceleaf coreopsis, and Prairie dropseed.
