Notes

'Black Eyed Stella' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Black Eyed Stella') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The yellow flowers have a burgundy eye and a fragrant scent, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Ice plant, Mexican sunflower, and Tree peony.
