Notes
'Black Forest Rose' rose (Rosa 'Black Forest Rose') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It has a bushy form, dark green leaves, and fragrant, medium red blooms that open in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it in 2010.
Pairs well with Garden phlox, Switchgrass, and Casa Blanca lily.
