Notes

'Black Magic' kale (Brassica oleracea 'Black Magic') is a vegetable for food gardens, containers, borders, and annual beds. It is typically grown as an annual. Few crops handle cold as well, and with a little winter protection it grows on through light freezes. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall with an erect habit. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Bright Lights Swiss chard, Cilantro, and Dukat dill.
