Notes

'Blafra' daphne (Daphne transatlantica 'Blafra') is a shrub for borders and containers, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. White flowers with orange-yellow anthers open in spring, summer, and autumn. The blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Crocus, Snowdrop, and Green Velvet buxus.
