Notes
'Blanjou' jacob’s ladder (Polemonium caeruleum 'Blanjou') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and woodland edges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. It bears violet blue flowers in mid to late spring. The plant grows 18 to 24 inches tall and wide, so give it room to form a neat clump.
Pairs well with Siebold's hosta, Lady in Red lady fern, Bergenia, and Deciduous azalea.
