Notes
'Bleu Aimable' tulip (Tulipa 'Bleu Aimable') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late spring. Plants stand 12 to 24 inches tall, so they work well in the middle of a bed.
Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Wood forget-me-not, and Pink Diamond tulip.
