Notes
'Bloomsdale Savoy' spinach (Spinacia oleracea 'Bloomsdale Savoy') is a vegetable for containers, food gardens, and shade gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. It ranks among the more cold-hardy crops, and with some winter protection it keeps growing through light freezes. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows fast and stands erect. Plants mature in about 50 days, and the seed is open-pollinated.
Pairs well with Bauer lettuce, Bok choy, and Alpha calendula.
