Notes

'Blovi' black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia fulgida 'Blovi') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, clay soil. It forms a clumping mound of yellow flowers that bloom in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Aromatic aster, Foxtail barley, Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea, and Blanket flower.
