Notes

'Blue Heaven' little bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium 'Blue Heaven') is a grass for borders, meadows, rain gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The clumping stems reach about 35 to 59 inches tall and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. It is also drought tolerant. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
