Notes

'Blue Spire' sage (Salvia yangii 'Blue Spire') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give it about 2 to 3 feet of space to spread.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Coneflower, and Blue fescue.
