Notes

'Blueberry Pie' orange ball tree (Buddleia 'Blueberry Pie') is a shrub for small gardens, containers, hedges, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its fragrant, blue-purple blooms have white and yellow centers and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms from summer into fall, and deadheading prolongs flowering.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Common milkweed, and Gladiolus.
