Notes

'Orchid Annie' orange ball tree (Buddleia 'Orchid Annie') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Fragrant blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The shrub is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Anise hyssop, Black-eyed Susan, and Feather reed grass.
