Notes

'Blue Chip' orange ball tree (Buddleia 'Blue Chip') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its arching form stays small, so it fits easily in tight spaces.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Anise hyssop, Black-eyed Susan, and Feather reed grass.
