Notes

Blueflower butterwort (Pinguicula caerulea) is a perennial for pollinator gardens and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet, sandy soil. It belongs to the bladderwort family, and most plants in this family are carnivorous. The violet-blue to white flowers open from early spring into early summer and attract bees.

Pairs well with Calla lily, Carolina jessamine, and Indian-hawthorn.
