Notes

'Bonfire' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Bonfire') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. Red, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer on stems that reach 51 inches tall. Bees visit the blooms, and you can cut stems for bouquets. Cathy Osselton bred it.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Snapdragon, and Fountain grass.
