Notes
'Jester' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Jester') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its light yellow flowers are fragrant and open in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Tall stems reach about 35 to 47 inches, so you may want to stake them.
Pairs well with Nymph gladiolus, Montbretia, and Fountain grass.
