Notes

Bookleaf mallee (Eucalyptus kruseana) is a shrub for containers, xeriscapes, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. The evergreen foliage is fragrant, and birds visit the plant. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Bloom time runs across all four seasons.

Pairs well with White sage, Desert spoon, and Jerusalem sage.
