Notes

'Bradford' pear (Pyrus calleryana 'Bradford') is a tree for specimen planting and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast with a columnar shape, and it tolerates drought. White spring flowers attract bees and birds, and the leaves show fall color. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Cucumber tree, Autumn fern, and Toad lily.
