Notes

'Breaker' anemone (Anemone 'Breaker') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Rose-pink blooms with yellow centers open in spring, then again in fall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The compact plant suits small gardens and draws bees and butterflies.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Big bluestem, and Arabella clematis.
