Notes
'Jeana' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Jeana') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its lavender-pink, fragrant blooms appear from early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give this clumping plant room to spread.
Pairs well with Waltraut sneezeweed, Tiger lily, and Little bluestem.
