Notes

'Bright Sunset' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Bright Sunset') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in early to late summer, and the flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Fragrant Angel coneflower, Lady's mantle, and Elijah Blue blue fescue.
