Notes

'Brunello' lily (Lilium 'Brunello') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant orange flowers open from early to late summer on stems 24 to 36 inches tall, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Gebr. Vletter en Den Haan bred it.

Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Liberty hosta, Big bluestem, and Niobe clematis.
