Notes

Candelabra primrose (Primula prolifera) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist, loamy soil. Tiered flowers open from early to late summer. The leaves stay evergreen, so the clumps add color through the year. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Candelabra primrose, Japanese iris, and Primrose.
