Notes

Candelabra primrose (Primula pulverulenta) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Drumstick primrose, Siberian iris, Variegata water iris, and Aurea tufted sedge.
