Notes

'Caproz Jerry Garcia' dahlia (Dahlia 'Caproz Jerry Garcia') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows about 47 inches tall and bears dark red flowers from early to late summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. S. Probizanski of Caproz Dahlias bred it in 1997.

Pairs well with Purple top, Joe-pyeweed, and Blue Angel hosta.
