Notes

'Carbineer' daffodil (Narcissus 'Carbineer') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant yellow blooms have a yellow-orange cup with a frilled mouth and open mid-season. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Common blue violet, Blue fescue, and Karl Rosenfield peony.
