Notes
'Carolyn Criswell' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Carolyn Criswell') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The fragrant, buff yellow blooms have a green throat and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, and Knapweed.
