Notes

'Carrickbeg' daffodil (Narcissus 'Carrickbeg') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Yellow petals surround a yellow trumpet on fragrant blooms that attract bees and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. J.L. Richardson bred it.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Prairie dropseed, White Swan coneflower, and Western sword fern.
