Notes
'Cayenne' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cayenne') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. The blooms are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Blanket flower, Indian grass, and Picture peony.
