Century plant (Agave pintilla) is a succulent for containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its thick, dark green to olive green leaves have white edges, and white linear markings appear as the plant grows larger. Yellow flowers open from early to late summer. In cold regions, you can bring it indoors for winter.

Pairs well with Fountain grass, Lemongrass, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
