Notes

'Cha Cha Cherry' beardtongue (Penstemon 'Cha Cha Cherry') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Red flowers bloom from July to October on a bushy, compact plant with blue-green leaves, and hummingbirds and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Yarrow, and Rosemary.
