Notes

'Cha Cha Hot' beardtongue (Penstemon 'Cha Cha Hot') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in early to late summer, with more flowers in early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Hummingbirds and bees visit the blooms.
