'Chandler' pummelo (Citrus maxima 'Chandler') is a fruit tree for the food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun. The large fruit is almost round, with yellow rinds and sweet, juicy, pink flesh. The white flowers are fragrant.
Pairs well with Hass avocado, Hachiya persimmon, and Lemon grass.
