Notes

'Chianti' dahlia (Dahlia 'Chianti') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The yellow blooms have a strong purplish red flush and open about 95 mm wide. Stems reach about 35 to 39 inches tall, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. N. Kops bred it.

Pairs well with Joe-pyeweed, Snapdragon, and Anemone.
