Notes
'Chicago Sunrise' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Chicago Sunrise') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. It grows 24 to 30 inches tall and bears fragrant, orange-yellow blooms. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Sensitive fern, and Ageratum.
