'China Lady' tulip (Tulipa 'China Lady') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring and stand about 12 inches tall. The outside of each bloom is carmine rose edged in white. Inside, the petals are ivory white with a greenish bronze base and red blotches, and the leaves are mottled.
