Notes

'Christine' rose (Rosa 'Christine') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It has upright growth, dark green leaves, and fragrant orange blooms. Flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn, and bees visit them. Samuel McGredy II bred it in 1918.

Pairs well with Ornamental onion, Blue grama, and California poppy.
