'Christmas Tree Group' Persian violet (Cyclamen coum 'Christmas Tree Group') is a perennial for woodland gardens, shade gardens, and mass plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Magenta flowers rise above silver leaves with green centers shaped like Christmas trees. It blooms in winter, sometimes before Christmas, and often in February and March alongside Helleborus. The plant goes dormant in summer, so plant it en masse for a woodland look.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Wood sorrel, and Speedwell.
