Notes

Speedwell (Veronica peduncularis) is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It spreads at a moderate pace and stays 3 to 6 inches tall. The evergreen leaves are green with brown or copper tones, and butterflies visit the spring and summer blooms.

Pairs well with Heather, Greig's tulip, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
