Notes

Persian violet (Cyclamen coum) is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade, average moisture, and most soil types. Pink flowers sit above heart-shaped, dark green leaves that are often marbled with pale green or silver. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Plant it en masse for a woodland look.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Viburnum, and Speedwell.
