Notes

'Christopher Stone' rose (Rosa 'Christopher Stone') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant scarlet blooms have crimson shading, golden-yellow stamens, and wide petals. Bees visit the flowers from late spring into early autumn. Herbert Robinson bred it in 1935.
