Notes

Climbing nasturtium (Tropaeolum pentaphyllum) is an annual vine for containers, trellises, and fences. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full or part sun. Tubular pinkish red flowers flare open to show green inner petals speckled with purple or red. Blue fruit follow the blooms. The thin vines climb or scramble, and the plant goes dormant in summer or fall, so give it a drier rest then.

Pairs well with Jasmine, Totally Tangerine dahlia, and Fountain grass.
