Notes

Coastal tidytips (Layia platyglossa) is an annual for borders, ground cover, and xeriscape gardens. Give it full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Daisy-like yellow flowers have white tips on the petals and open in spring and summer. Lean soil keeps plants from getting leggy and helps them bloom. Birds love the seeds, so cover the seed heads if you want to save some for next year.

Pairs well with Baby blue eyes, Bluehead gilia, and Ookow.
