Notes

'Conspicuus' daffodil (Narcissus 'Conspicuus') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant yellow flowers, which have a frilled, scarlet-orange rim. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. W. Backhouse bred it.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Blue fescue, and Christmas fern.
